I think it will depend most on advertising. The website and game was far worse previously but had active players because of youtubers. If a YTer makes a video again likely itll be more popular, but to keep these players it would definitely be good to release a quality update.

roblox has actual games that actually function. Brick planet has barely functioning forums, a playerbase that consists of 10 people and an engine that is made in unity and is vulnerable to cheat engine 6

gotta love bp, they killed the economy and drove away those who were here for it, the development of the game engine is SLOW, and the game engine isnt very good to begin with
