what should i do with them besides try to buy new rares/potential new rares

nothing really good to do other than buy rares.
However, you can turn them to bits for a decent rate using exchange, then exchange for credits using the limited rates.
Made like 10k creds profit using it. Don't do it if you don't know how limits work.

interesting, didn't really look too much into the exchange stuff before but that's cool
