wonderin the community's thoughts on the playerbase

hey guys!
i was thinkin a bit about the playerbase of the game, and how, yea, there are thousands of accounts, but a BIG majority of them are just alts, or unused. i'm hoping this doesn't mean bad for the future, as a lack of players can lead to the game shutting down again LOL, i'm hoping the playerbase grows after the client releases like it did back in 2018, but we'll have to see.
i'm also hoping for more people to join, just for the sake of having more people around. anyone have any thoughts on the subject?
