Islam indeed is the true religion its not only based on faith but on facts
There are numerous Scientific miracles and prophecies in the holy Quran
Here are 2 examples of miracle and prophecy.
The development stages of embryo [Quran 23:13-15]
And prophecy of the victory of the roman over the persian in ten years [Quran 30:2-5]
There are also prophecy mentioned in authentic hadiths too.

There is no "Best Religion" or any religion that is "true"
Personally religion should be kept off of this site, because it will get political.
Coming from a Christian, I think you should believe in whatever religion you want. Your religion is not "wrong" as many people think us christians believe.

God's word never changes, the reason there are many different Bibles containing scriptures that look like as if a man made change whole words is translations. Some Bible has translation errors made by man because while translating from original languages (these languages are: Greek, Aramaic, & Hebrew), there were similar words. One example verse of translation error is "KJV (King James Version), 1716" in John 8:11 reads "Go and sin on more" rather than "Go and sin no more.", this is mostly it's translators fault for making such errors like that.

I agree, I hope this kind of question won't pop up ever again in the future otherwise, it's going to get a conflict as a consequence.
