The absolute maximum additional copies that purple glowing eyes can gain are 32, this is assuming that everybody owns the equal amount of rares required for the trade up (5:4:5:9) (common:rare:epic:mythic)
Common: 5841/5 = 1168 rares
Rare: (617+1168)/4 = 446 epics
Epic: (332+446)/5 = 155 mythics
Mythic: (136+155)/9 = 32 LEGENDARY'S
The probability that everyone has the correct amounts of each item is low and the stock of purple glowing eyes will most likely go up by a maximum of 5-10 when the feature is released.

It depends how many credits the person has, and the method they use to get the rares. Buying crates to get rares is costly and not worth it imo. Buying rares from resellers is better, but might not be worth it as I calculated you would need around 30,000 credits for the PGE using the trade up feature. You can already purchase a copy of PGE being resold for 30k, so it’s debatable.

There are only so many copies of the crate items, yes you can buy crate items to use for the trade up feature but with the current stock of all rare types you can only get a maximum of 32 PGE’s, not to mention not every copy of the different rare types is on sale at this moment

You would need 900 common items to trade up into a legendary, this is only assuming that you don’t have any items in the other rarity categories which you do so it would be a bit less than that but still quite a lot
