I ’ve long had the idea that if you fallowed around the various protestors and counter protesters that are always on the verge of breaking into a riot, and dropped a motorcycle/muscle car show right in the middle of them you could both sides coming together. It’s kinda hard for two groups to yell at each other over all that rock music and engine noise. Plus there’s just something about the combination of engineering and raw power that appeals to humans on a primal level that overrides race and politics. You could take the most green earth fart smelling electric car fanatic, put them behind the wheel of a 71 hemi cuda, and the second they hit that gas pedal they still might prefer their Tesla, but they will definitely understand the appeal of the classics.
