Water is what makes things wet. You need water on or in something for that thing to be wet. If you put water in water, you’re going to just get more water, you can’t wet water because it does not sit on top of the water, the water is absorbed and becomes one big blob. The only way to “wet” water is to freeze it and put it in liquid water. Then your “water” will be wet.

No, water is not wet. Water is a liquid, and liquids are not wet. Wetness is the quality of being wet, and only solid objects can be wet. When a solid object is wet, it means that water is on the surface of the object, or that the object is soaking in water.

Well, if you freeze water it becomes a solid and you can wet ice
