All the “praise” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back your players mock you. Your fellow game devs are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “moderators” laugh at your homepage's ghoulish aesthetic appearance behind closed doors.

Gamers are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed gamers to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even Roblox clones that seem “good” look uncanny and unnatural to a gamer. Your underperforming client is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get an underaged newgen to join, they’ll turn tail and bolt the second they get a whiff of your diseased, infected forum boards.

You will never be mainstream. You wrench out a fake statistic every single year and tell yourself it’s going to be popular, but deep inside you feel the lies creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight of reality.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll sit on your computer, grab your mouse, press the delete button, and plunge your site into the cold abyss. Your players will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll refer to you as a Roblox clone, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a Roblox clone used to run there. Your code will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a 404 bad gateway request.
