hot take but this site needs to shut down permanently

lets be real with ourselves here. this site is only being carried by the somewhat-and-not-always-active forums. other than that tho, there's literally nothing to do here, and this NOTHING is engraved in the middle of your screen right at the moment you click the link to redirect yourself on brickplanet.
and yea, i get that they're working on a new client and all, but how long do they expect us to keep waiting?? how many times did the guys in here promise for a new client, only for them to completely start over and over and over again? let's face it, you're never getting this new client.
brickplanet had its run, for sure. it reached its peak back when the folks at roblox announced rthro for the first time, when all of us decided to migrate here as a form of protest against roblox's decision that would eventually lead to its new image that its own fanbase keeps rejecting endlessly. but now that roblox players got used to rthro being around and no longer viewing it as this demonic entity which will bring roblox to its initial demise, no one really cares about brickplanet anymore. not because it's not fun or doesnt have any potential, **but because there's just nothing to do**.
brickplanet would have never gotten to where it is if whiny little kids didnt scream on top of their lungs that this is a copy of roblox. but now those kids have grown. they no longer view it as some kind of shameless rip off, meaning they also dont have any reason to spread the world about a copy of roblox going around.
i guess what i am trying to say is, brickplanet does not possess any sort of direction. whoever runs it nowadays doesnt know if they want it to be a clone of roblox or something original altogether. its just really, really weird...

Nah not permanently I still want the site

I personally don't want it to shut down, but I do see it as pretty much inevitable if the site keeps going on as it is currently. 0 communication, no progress reports, no contests or events with the existing engine, I'm not sure how they can expect people to continuing putting money into this platform if they get nothing in return. It's quite a shame.

Trust me it will shut down, but not permanently.
