For some odd reason retirement is always on my mind but I can't bring myself to. I want to stay but this is getting pretty tired.

I've run into the same problem as you a couple months back. What I'd suggest to do is to take a break or just come back less frequently. I've been doing this and it helped quite a bit by making this game feel a little bit more fresh if that makes any sense. This is just my take though, so just do as you think is best for you.
