My favorite childhood memory that comes to mind is when in my Elementary School, they would do an event that the entirety of the classes would do where you would play summer games like soccer, capture the flag, and this one game where you had to take their 'tails' (as in this colored cloth) on someone's back while the ones with the tails had to make it to the end
At the end, they would bring in coolers filled with popsicles for the classes to cool off before the school day was over
