This is why I don't play Roblox anymore. Too much stuff like this, and people still call it "kid friendly". This game should die already, it was better in 2016.

The game has never truly been good. Sure, you could argue it was better back then, but there have always been creeps, jerks, online daters, and scammers. Telamon accounts on a "problem user" which went on the forums, spamming curse words on the website, circa 2006. Not safe for work artwork was uploaded to Roblox in 2007 and accepted by moderators. Screenshots of online daters and condo games exist, with records as far back as January 2007. Tix botting and password sharing has been a problem as early as the currency was introduced. This is obvious when looking at forum archives. Still think the good old days were great? If you want to argue that it was simply a rough start, there is a YouTube channel containing videos that show uncensored Roblox 63 scripts from 2012.

I found most of this information off Roblox history boards and the IP bans sheet from 2012-2014. Want to know more about why the past wasn't sunshine and rainbows? Just ask me.

playing games on roblox isnt fun anymore, i was much more enjoyable back when i was a little kid. now, instead of playing i mainly just make games

its not necessarily roblox itself was better back then, its just the nostalgia people hold onto and cherish.
